Who knew writing a description of who you are would be so difficult?

I’ll start with…I am from Detroit, MI. I am a wife, a mother to 2 teenage children, a coach/mentor, an entrepreneur and an encourager of anyone that will give me more than 3 minutes to speak to them.

I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for 9+ years and have owned my own salon(s) for the majority of that time. During the pandemic of 2020, I was challenged with figuring out a way to provide a remedy for at-home hair care to my clients and although I’d been using my homemade products on my clients for years, I never thought to sell them seperately. That’s when Finesse Hair Care products were born! I was able to provide hair care products that I trust to nourish my clients hair even in my absence.

Over the years of being a cosmetologist, I’ve found a passion of being a sounding board to my clients. There’s something special about shampooing and styling someones hair that builds a trust and bond between a stylist and her clients. Although many people have referred to me as a motivational speaker, it wasn’t until recently that I began to own that title.

I also became a social media manager during 2020 after receiving so many compliments on how I ran my social media accounts. I absolutely love this position because I get to help people build their businesses as well as live out their dreams of business growth! Overall, every title, and every position that I have in my life brings me absolute joy!

Honestly, I don’t care much about the titles…Motivational speaker, Cosmetologist, Mom, Wife, Mentor, etc. I only care about the impact that I am privileged to make on the people around me!
